The word "worship" is a verb, an action word. It means to honor or show reverence for as a divine being or supernatural power; to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion. At PRBC, we worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

The action of worship can happen through various acts of worship:

• You can worship through prayer

• You can worship through ministering

• You can worship through reading, studying, and following God's Word

• You can worship through the Lord's Supper

• You can worship by serving others or the church

• You can worship through singing and music

​

Music is just one form of worship, but it is powerful! When we lift our hearts and voices to the Lord as an act of worship, our hearts become joyful and our burdens become lighter because we are focused upon bringing honor and glory to the Lord.

 

Psalm 105:1-3 says:

Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!

Music and singing is a major part of worship at PRBC. We worship through a blended style of music, from traditional to contemporary, from choir to solos, from vocal to instrumental. All is done to bring glory and honor to the Lord Jesus!
